Chianis + Anderson is currently designing a new Emergency Department and Medical/ Surgical Private Patient Room Bed Tower on the Wilson Medical Center Campus.
 

The project is intended to effectively transform the campus both aesthetically and functionally to meet the current and future demands of the patient population that the hospital system currently serves. The Emergency Department will double in size and will be comprised of both new construction and a complete interior renovation of the existing space. The Medical/Surgical Private Patient Room Bed Tower will be all new construction and will contain 30 private patient rooms with bathrooms per floor across four floors for a total of 120 private rooms.
 

In addition to the two major components, the project will also include an MRI Suite immediately adjacent to the new Emergency Department, as well as new main hospital entrance with covered drop off and entrance lobby. The project includes shell space that will be dedicated to operating room suite expansion for four operating rooms.
