Chianis + Anderson completed designing a new Emergency Department and Medical/Surgical Patient Tower, on the Wilson Medical Center Campus.  The project effectively transformed the campus both aesthetically and functionally to meet the current and future demands of the patient population that the hospital system currently serves.  The Emergency Department doubled in size and is comprised of both new construction and complete interior renovation.  The Medical/Surgical Patient Tower is all new construction and contains 30 private patient rooms with bathrooms per floor, across four floors, for a total of 120 private rooms.

In addition to the two major components, the project also includes an MRI Suite immediately adjacent to the new Emergency Department, as well as new main hospital entrance with covered drop off and entrance lobby.  The project includes shell space that will be dedicated to operating room suite expansion for four operating rooms.
