Primary Care Extension Clinic
This Primary Care Facility project included the relocation of several programs that were once buried within the core of the hospital and placed them in a new home in a clean, patient-focused “retail like” setting. Convenience and ease of use for the patient was a primary project goal, along with ample parking and simple way finding.
Within this comprehensive outpatient center, a patient has access to multiple clinical services under one roof including primary care, pediatrics, rheumatology, cardiology, women’s services (GYN and imaging), and extended hours walk in care. Key ancillary services were incorporated such as laboratory, retail pharmacy, and a full complement of imaging services (3T MRI, 64 Slice CT, X-Ray). The facility also features a retail cafe giving patients and staff access to healthy food options.
