This project is the design and construction of a new Veterans
Campus located on an approximately 1.6 acre site at 530 State Street in Binghamton.
 

Located within the site is a 6,700sf main building housing veterans programs offices, a shared conference room, a multi-use room, restrooms as well as a reception and lounge area.
The building will have a full basement housing mechanical, electrical and storage rooms and will have an at grade entry on the north side of the building. The aesthetic of the building
is designed to fit into the mostly residential neighborhood, but still be identifiable for visitors.
 

Veteran Housing will also be incorporated into the project on the north side of the site in the form of small duplexes. These duplexes will serve as transitional housing for Veterans and each unit contains a living area, kitchenette, a bedroom and a fully handicap accessible bathroom as well as a covered front
porch.
 

Ample parking for both the main building as well as the duplexes is provided along with overall landscaping and new sidewalks. A pocket park will be located in the northeast corner to be utilized both by the community and veterans living in the duplexes.
