Residential
Lake House
The existing cottage structure was outdated and in desperate need of a major renovation to service the current needs of the family as well as the future members of their extended family in years to come. A major renovation and addition was conceptually planned but then abandoned due to the cost versus benefit when compared to that of a new structure.
The homeowners engaged Chianis + Anderson to design a new house and replace the current cottage on the property with a modern structure that met the needs of the family at the time but would also continue to serve future generations. In addition, the house was intended to serve as a retirement home for the owners as they moved into that phase of their lives.
